COMEST EXPANSION

The workshop and office area of Comest is further expanded though the connection of two existing buildings, bringing the total surface of the company from 8400 sqm to 10.000 sqm.

The new area will be equipped with lifting cranes up to 60 tons and will be dedicated to ASSEMBLY and MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS, in order to strengthen the service provided to our clients.

As usual, also this year our Founder and President Mr. Tiziano Rossi participates in the ASI MOTOR SHOW, the international event dedicated to the historic motorcycles.

During this exhibition will be shown innovative solutions in the die casting industry and faced topics like rapid prototyping, die casting, and moulds.

Since February 2017 the US die builder Consolidated Tool - Gemini Group is our partner for spare parts, maintenance, repair and re-inserting in North America.

Thanks to this alliance we can now fully provide our tooling programs in the Usa, Mexico and Canada.

Comest participated to Euroguss 2016, the most important exhibition of the die-casting sector, in Nurnberg.

At EUROGUSS you can find out everything about die casting.

Around 550 exhibitors, die casting foundries as well as supplying industries, equipment suppliers and service-providers from the European die casting sector gather at one venue showing their production.

The EUROGUSS 2016 took place on 12-14 January 2016 closing with a new visitor record, making it the largest EUROGUSS in its history. The trade fair for die-casting attracted 12,032 national and international visitors to the exhibition site in Nuremberg.

Our President Mr Tiziano Rossi, animated by his passion for the automotive sector and engines, is involved in the management of a small motorbikes atelier and enjoys spending his free time in the workshop developing new engines for motorbikes, participating to races all over Italy and supporting young athletes in the field of moto racing.

Mr Rossi, class ‘39, is always busy at the plant working every day to follow the creation of every new die, from project to realization, not fearing to get his hands dirty at the workshop, providing precious guidance to all the staff thanks to his unparalleled experience of more than 50 years in the die casting sector.

Comest is the sponsor of Michael Carbonera and SK-RACING Team at the 2016 European Junior Cup, powered by Honda.

Passionate about minibikes since he was young, Michael Carbonera, class 1995, is a racer of SK-Racing team since 2015.

Awarded multiple times Italian and European minibikes champion, he began his career early in 2005 on minibikes when he was only 7 years old, racing at the Junior A Championship.
